Who runs EduCopt
EduCopt is a church learning portal made by Ark Studio. Ark Studio is a small company that builds websites and software. We do not have a public street address. Email contact@arkstudio.io.
What we store
When a church uses EduCopt, we store:
- Name and email
- Sign-in with email and password, or with Google
- Date of birth, grade, and address (street, city, state, and ZIP), when those are filled in
- Role in the church, such as student, youth, parent, servant, priest, or church admin
- Class enrollment, and whether the person is a student or a teacher in that class
- Attendance
- Assignment answers, quiz answers, grades, and feedback
- Discussion posts
- Which accounts are linked as family
- The note someone writes when they ask to join a church
- Church name, logo, and colors
- Class materials, hymns, and audio the church uploads
On the public site, the request-access form stores an email and a church name.
We do not knowingly collect information of children under 13.
Who can see it
People in a church see the classes and records their role allows. A church admin can see the people in that church. Parents can see the accounts linked to them. One church cannot see another church's people or classes.
Ark Studio can see this information to run EduCopt and to help when a church writes to us.
How long we keep it
We keep information while the church is using EduCopt. To have an account or a church removed, email contact@arkstudio.io.
